In these austere times it is sometimes necessary to get one's hands dirty. After all, knock-offs are sometimes almost as hard to get hold of than the real thing (which is too expensive to even consider), and counterfeits are a categorical no go. My creative side being close to non-existent, I have never actually come up with a DIY sewing job myself. However, I think these homemade high-fashion ersatzes are definitely worth a go. Additional ideas on a postcard please.

Morven's beautiful silver collar tip blouse - inspired by Zara

Andy's soft leather oversize clutch - inspired by Michael Kors

Sabrina's denim cut-off cotton shirt - inspired by Celine

  1. Really like the silver collar tip blouse -- so much potential for creativity there. I'll have to try the same thing with colored paper or fabric or maybe embroidered corners that slip on and off. . . hmmmm.

  2. Thank you for introducing me to these DIY's.
