LFW reminiscings

Just stumbled across these fab pictures snapped by the lovely Vanessa Jackman during LFW in February. We bonded over our similar (legal) backgrounds and the (utterly rewarding in her case) courage it takes to step out of the 'golden cage' - leaving behind a financially secure career to follow your heart and devote yourself to your true passion. Fashion and photography for Vanessa. Fashion and writing for me. She really is an inspiration. Her accomplished talent, her truly deserved success, and most of all, her never ending joie de vivre. She is also living proof that you have to have faith in yourself and go after what you really want from life. Carpe Diem etc.., n'est ce pas?

ps: Is it just me, or was the weather actually nicer in February?

Je viens de tomber sur ces clichés fabuleux, shootés par l'adorable Vanessa Jackman pendant la Fashion Week Londonienne, en février. Nous avons beaucoup papoté, puisque nous sommes toutes les deux des rescapées du droit, qui ont tout quitté du jour au lendemain pour se consacrer à notre passion. Pour elle, la mode et la photographie. Pour moi, la mode et l'écriture. Son talent flamboyant, son succès foudroyant, et sa joie de vivre sont pour moi une véritable source d'inspiration. Comme quoi, parfois il faut oser le tout pour le tout, et suivre son coeur. Carpe diem, n'est ce pas?

ps: j'ai l'impression qu'il faisait meilleur temps en février..
