(boots Maison Martin Margiela x H&M)
Like carbon dating on a dinosaur's bone, my affinity for all things plexi is not something that can be traced back to an exact point in time. All that we know is that if you can see right through it and it looks overtly minimalistic, chances are I won't be able to resist. So imagine my own surprise when I chose to not click home the above MMM x H&M booties when they hit stores last week. But Fate is an old friend of mine, so when I bumped into him hanging out with the booties (who were incidentally boasting a 50% mark down) at my local, yesterday afternoon, I air kissed him, as one does in this industry, grabbed them and dashed over to the till.

I must admit, that even if the MMM X H&M collection didn't resonate with my style, these ones are really cool. So is the biker jacket and the huge peacoat x

Eugene Rabkin made the definite point on the matter, focusing the paradox of this collab with the greatest sensibility. But i'm with you on those boots, they're very contemporary and cool regardless of 'brand-blinding'-processes.

Is it awful to say this but I think Im going to way an extra month so grab this or even wait til it starts snowing or something so I can get it even cheaper. H&M seem to having of selling designer collection boots are £20 roughly a month or two after it has been released

ReplyDeleteI think it's pretty hilarious things were marked down 50% so fast. A bit of a slap in the face for those who stood at their H&M at 5 o'clock that day the collection came out though...
