I have been getting so many emails asking about my Wang-esque buckle boots, but I'm afraid to say they have been long sold out, and I just don't think Zara will be bringing them out again. However, don't despair, there are plenty more out there! Seeing as the black bootie is the most versatile shoe of the season, and a must have for any good Winter wardrobe, I thought I would share my favourite alternatives.. which turn out not to be alternatives at all. Ahem, yes, you know where I'm getting at, but can you guess which ones I ordered?

I'm headed to NYC tomorrow and plan to try on the Acne block heel and See by Chloe booties! I ordered the Zara a.wang look-a-likes but thought they were a little on the plastic-y side for me. They look great in photos however!

I think Wang's ones are absolute perfection. To have an alternative to classic black ankle boots this year I choose Jeffrey Campbell Pixie wedge-boots; the right amount of rock'n'roll and comfort :)
