A new classic and obvious must-have for any seamlessly transeasonal wardrobe: boyfriend denim. Like most of my blues, I prefer mine as distressed as they come. Playing up to gender stereotypes, I wore these over the weekend with a sports top and boyish beanie, but added the usual cut-out pumps for extra oomph - both literal and figurative. A small victory for my two-X chromosomes, who have resembled more the ypsiloid sort as of late. Clearly this side of the rainbow is not about to win an Oscar for sartorial innovation. Still, I enjoyed this haute nonchalent kind of get-up, and here's to hoping that you do to..

I'm wearing Zara super-distressed boyfriend jeans, cut-out pumps and blazer, a Gina tricot top (similar option here and here) and an Acne beanie.
