Seeing doubleTuesday, March 12 2013
(Ph/Jessie Bushfor Vogue Australia)
A little birdie (otherwise known as the Spring-Summer 13 catwalk) told me that this season was about exploring new femininity. Very well, sang the devils advocate within, watch me do just that the Sinatra way.
Here goes. My rules. ‘My way’.
To those who say that twin-sets are just for fashion-consciousgrannies and royals in a blow-dry, I say quit the small talk and choose a doublon that suits your inner you. And if that means leather all the way, then so be it. Heck, I even threw in a ruffled hem, so no cheating on that end. And you know what, it didn’t kill me! Don’t call me girly, though. I may look prim, but that clutch bears a heavy chain. Don’t fret, that is not a threat, but simply a statement of fact: even when I look tough, I always act like a lady. Or should that be the other way round?
I’m wearing an AR leather top and skirt(budget versions here or here), ACNE chain bag (similar here or here) and Zara Studio plexi heels.
