Ganni Spring/Summer 2015
I hate to play favourites, but I think we should all concede that Ganni scored highest on the fashion court last week in Copenhagen. Set in the backyard of Hotel Mercur, a flawless team of golden skinned, golden haired girls—including danish delights (and personal favs) Caroline Brash Nielsen and Emma Oak—in all-white lace-ups and super-clean separates marched up and down the red clay covered catwalk.
While a slim-fit Tom Ford-esque sequin dress was the perfect after-hour counterpart to the easy sporty pieces to be worn by day, the relaxed, fuss-free florals had me reconsidering my no-print policy.
It was, all in all, a perfectly curated lineup of deceptively simple basics for the girl always on the go. And the best part? The Danish label-to-watch just opened a pop-up store one minute away from my street in Shoreditch. How’s that for a neighbourhood welcome gift?
Trust a scandi-loyalist on this one, you must drop by.
